Music has always been an important factor in my life and now that I have a family of my own, I am very glad that I was able to impart to my own children what I had learned when I was growing up in the presence of other family members who took to the same interest.
I grew up in a family that gave much importance to values and social obligation. I could say that my greatest influence when it came to personal preferences was my grandfather since it had seemed that he was the only one who could really understand my views as a young child growing up. It was because of this that we developed a certain bond between ourselves and have shared practically the same interests, given the fact that we were generations apart. I still remember the time when he had actually gifted me with an old guitar he once used during his younger years and we would play it together and sing at the same time. It was because of these memorable moments that I have returned the favor to my own siblings. It was not long ago that I had purchased a couple of Suzuki Harmonicas for both my growing sons. I could honestly say that it was the most satisfying thing I have ever done since now we could just sit around and enjoy each others’ company on weekends.
