Continue reading »]]> I have been in and out of clinics and hospitals because of the kind of business I got myself into for a couple of years now.  I am presently into marketing health supplements and most of my clientele are people belonging to the medical field.  I frequent medical establishments at an average of six days a week and have always found myself on the road travelling.  There is only one thing that I have to admit about these organizations and that is the conditions of these establishments they have.

I do understand that sanitation is a must and is a given when it comes to such, however, what really got my attention during one of my recent visits was the attractive uniforms these people had on them, to be more specific were the Marcus scrub tops, of which I was later on informed that they were.  They were just so appealing and soothing to the eyes, which made patients more relaxed in a way.

Continue reading »]]> I grew up in a family of medical practioners, from aunties who were nurses and uncles and grandfathers who were doctors.  I would say that on account of my exposure to them, I was, more or less, familiarized with different aspects of health issues.  This has made me so conscious of my physical condition being actively involved in my business in the marketing field.  I seldom have time to really take long rests and go for regular checkups because of time constraints; however, I try to make it a point to take the proper supplements and food intake.

In today’s society, less attention has been given to implementing a sound practice when it comes to healthy living.  I was a bit surprised when I had a chance to drop by the local hospital one day to visit a close friend of mine.  She had been confined for a couple of days because of the results that came out after her physical.  It seems that she developed a strange lump on her right wrist, which turned out to be a wart of some sort.  However, after consulting her personal physician, it turns out that it can be easily removed with the use of a  cautery.  This has surely made her more at ease.

Continue reading »]]> Investments have always been most people’s dream of having.  In todays present economic situation, we really do need to have some kind of a fallback since we are often never sure of what would be in store for us in the near future.  Having enough foresight and a bit of common sense and logic does the trick at all times. Although as simple as it sounds, we do need to do some research and possibly come up with some sort of a study.

The amount that one has to put up is purely subjective and mainly depends on his or her capacity and status.  It does not necessarily mean that we would have to go really deep into it which could eventually cost us our livelihood and bring about negative consequences.  I have come across some articles on some very good options and one of them would be to buy gold at Golden Eagle.  It is one sound suggestion since it will not set us back a whole lot when it comes to finances.

Continue reading »]]> Getting to pack something very neatly and securely has always gotten people in trouble most especially when it turns out to be a flimsy one.  The thing about cartons is the available thickness and rigidity which is often quite a headache to get hold of and does not cost most of us an arm and a leg.  This is mostly experienced when we send of parcels by courier and we get to do the packing ourselves.  Our recipients often comment that items get to their ends in bad condition.

I have had experience in the export business and I would have to say that making sure goods reach the clients’ end as secure as possible.  What I used to do was to have the dimensions as accurate as possible then, with the existing material and just trim it down to its proper size.  I would suggest using a Martor USA box cutter to make it as precise as possible.

Continue reading »]]> I have always been conscious with the way I looked ever since my adolescent years.  I do believe that carrying oneself is very important and that a big part of this is how you present yourself physically.  Being in the marketing field for almost more than a decade, I could honestly say that it does count a lot in looking your best during product endorsements and presentations.  Impressions are very important, more so when it comes to being persuasive.  In my field of work, being more than just convincing is a must, and most often, it is what we can actually prove is the only thing that counts.

Nowadays, there are far more than just a handful of young ladies that are as concerned as anyone when it comes to looks.  This is easily accounted for with the number of health spas and beauty shops that have cropped up within a span of a few years.  I would have to mention that it is also on account of the kind of exposure to our present society.  There are a lot of known product lines that have been selling like anything; however, I have come across something that has proven to be very effective.  I am not quite sure, but I would personally recommend using dead sea mud.  I know that it is something that really works.

Continue reading »]]> Setting up an office has never been an easy task to undertake.  Ever since I have decided to get involved in my own business, finding ways and means on how to come up with a system that could provide better efficiency is a must.  It does not only involve having the right pool of trained personnel, but providing them with the proper orientation and a good foundation has always been a concern.

Aside from getting the most ideal people, providing them with the proper tools is the only way to get maximum productivity.  This has always been my principle and that limiting them to a minimum based on their individual capacities would never lead to the fulfillment of goals and targets.  I have just recently done an upgrade on most office equipment’s I have and among them is a document imaging software that has proven to be a wise decision on my part.  It was an addition to our present system that had great results.

Continue reading »]]> I would have to say that I was quite handy when it came to coming up with novelty items made from organic materials that were hand-crafted.  I still remember that this hobby of mine all started years back during my teenage years which I spent with both my grandparents during summer breaks.  It was my grandmother who actually got my interest started and from then on, everything was just history.

I cannot actually believe that someone can really turn a small hobby into something that can be as lucrative as it is for me now.  I have been spending my spare time on weekends making small figurines and the like made from different materials that just happen to cross my mind.  It is not really that difficult, although I would have to admit that it takes quite a creative mind to come up with as many unique ideas as possible.  It is also a must to have the right tools such as mcgill punches to begin with.  It just makes everything more easy and practical.

Continue reading »]]> Having collections of different memorabilia’s have always been a passion that my husband has maintained for almost more than two decades.  It seemed to be something that he had enjoyed doing ever since his childhood days from collecting stamps to having a cabinet full of rare toys he had gathered since his growing up years.

From several of his favorites is a vast showing of different monetary currencies which he has gathered by no less than himself, and at times, from the help of his close friends and relatives.  Among them is a 1927 silver dollar which he treasures so much and was placed on display in our living room in a glass enclosure.  It is representative of how proud he is of these mementos.
