Yo Yo

During my growing up years, I have spent most of my playtime being around my brothers, thus, which made me very familiar with the things we used to get ourselves busy with at that time.  Summers meant spending time with our grandparents’ place in the suburbs and just enjoying the wonderful experience of the outdoors when they would take us on short trips either to the beach or campsites.  Otherwise, we would just spend time in the backyard splashing water around and playing with the dogs the whole day.

I clearly remember how my grandfather was so crafty when it came to things like making kites and building tree houses.  There was one special thing though that still stuck to my mind and this was the yo yo he had made for all of us.  We each had one which were painted with attractive colors and just seemed to glow whenever they would spin.  It was one among the several things he had given us that was really memorable.

I have to say that ever since my husband has decided to quit his previous post as consultant in one of the known local development companies, things have never been as better than it is at this point.  It had opened several doors of opportunities when it came to projects which he had personally managed as a freelancer.  It had kept him busy even on weekends wherein he had to travel distances to see them through completion.  There are always compromises when it comes to time spent with our children; however, he always made sure that he made up for this lost time whenever he could.

Getting geared up for a new system at the office always has its share of difficult moments.  I’ve been involved in my own small business for about a couple of years now and have evolved from an idea I had when I was still working for a leading local marketing company.  I have had some extensive hands-on experience having to handle critical accounts with a few of my peers under my direct supervision.

Having applied a few basic knowledge to this venture I have gotten myself into proved to be very practical and productive.  This was made quite obvious most especially when it came to accurate figures and accounting of progress and developments.  I would have to say that having a report engine to do what it’s supposed to just make everything a whole lot easier.

Fashion has always amazed me as a young teenager during my university years.  I clearly remember the time when I, together with a couple of my cousins and close friends, making rounds within the local mall in search of items on sale.  We would spend practically every weekend window shopping and getting hold of things such as clothes, footwear and cosmetics.

I have been raised in a family that strongly believes in good values and close ties.  Ever since I was growing up, we have had wonderful moments sharing each other’s company most especially during meaningful events.  I remember graduations, birthdays, Christmases, new years and the like where members like my grandparents would always be present and share in these glorious experiences.

Great memories have always been a part of my family’s history and maybe it was because that we have been taught how to cherish every single moment that we spend together.  Capturing every occasion has been such fun, even up to this point.  It’s a good thing that at times, when files are just too big to share, I have always loaded them online and have asked people to do a video download from youtube.  It has always been practical for everyone ever since and it proved to be a good idea.

I and my husband have always taken a liking to travelling out town wherein we would take weekends off together with the kids as sort of a therapy for all of us after a long week in the city.  It does help both me and my husband unwind and relax with the company of the children.  I would say that pressures from work and business are alleviated with this form of recreation for the whole family.  It not only provides a renewed feeling but creates a wonderful opportunity for some bonding among ourselves.

I have had much experience in the marketing field and holding a previous position at one of the known local companies as manager proved to be a great advantage when I decided to set up my own business.  It has proven to be a great challenge at the beginning, however, as time progressed, we saw our small organization grow into something that was worth the patience and perseverance.

Prom Dress

I still remember by high school years when I was so involved in every single class activity.  I was then elected as one of the officials of our student council and as part of my obligation, annual festivities that were scheduled at the start of each opening year was under my responsibility.  It was not an easy task and had always required most of my time.  This was mainly because of the coordination and creating specific programs.

There is one special occasion among young girls that really gets them all so excited.  It practically gets everyone in the family involved and I personally keep those warm memories close to my heart.  It was among those rare and once-in-a-lifetime experiences that any teenager would not dare to miss out on.  As involved as I was before, I had an opportunity once more to be part of such a glorious event.  My niece had just held theirs recently and was just so proud to assist her in getting her prepared.  It was just so fortunate that we were able to spot a prom dress at tjformal.com and I would say that it just brought out the best in her.  She has never been as appreciative as she ever was and I would even presume that it made us closer than before.

I have been married for a couple of years now to my husband who I have known to be a handy person when it comes to work that needs to be done around the house.  Actually, we have just moved into our new home a few months ago and he has already started doing some renovations to our living room and the kitchen.  He will be starting on the garage towards the end of this year since it has quite a lot of carpentry work to be done.

I have been exposed to a handful of society’s problems and most of them are actually caused by personal conflicts starting from homes.  As a young teenager years back, I have had some hands-on experience in dealing with young people involved in such unfortunate situations as drug addiction.  I could say that most often, it is on account of peer pressure and basically the social environment they grew up in.
