I have been in the business of promoting consumer items for years now. All I can say is that there is only one way of getting people’s attention when it comes to providing them with the right products and that is being as honest as the product you are offering. Because of a very competitive market, consumers really try to get out of their way in knowing more about things they are about to purchase. So bottomline is, it is all about what our propsective clients are in need of and leading them in the right direction.
There are countless promotions claiming some items to be at the top of the list when it comes to what it has to offer, however, in the end, it is still up to the customer basically. I have been quite successful in trying to maintain my own regulars because of sheer perseverance and the fact that they are, at most times, satisified with what they have ended up buying. I make sure that they do return by making them remember the kind of business I have brought them. I have learned to adopt to several ways, depending on the nature of the transaction. There was this instance with one particular account that I was able to close just recently. It involved supplying them with computer accessories and supplies and in relation to that, as a sign of goodwill, I threw in a couple of custom usb drives. It was surely one way of getting me noticed most of the time even in my absence.
