People travel a lot for business or pleasure and for whatever matter, we always make sure that it is one that we would always remember, most especially when we are headed for a specific place for the first time. Memories always seem to stick with us regardless of whether these are good ones or those unlikely moments that we tend to share with others. However, in most cases, we have often tried to keep those that we really treasure and leave out the ones that make us feel uncomfortable.
I remember one occasion when I and a handful of my closest friends had to make a trip to the countryside on such short notice because of some urgent errand we had to do for one of their relatives. It turned out, that because of the weekend rush, we had to wait in line to get hold of boarding tickets and were forced to take the last bus out of the city. With just a small travel bag in hand containing a few pieces of clothing, we finally found ourselves seated and on our way.
The journey had not lasted for a good 2 or 3 hours when suddenly a commotion happened in one of the rear seats involving two elderly persons. It turns out that one of them had passed out and the other turned hysterical at that very moment. Within less than a minute, the driver pulled over upon the request of the majority. It was a real blessing that there was a doctor aboard and some immediate attention was offered. After a few minutes of unrest, someone gestured that everything was going to be okay and that the man has regained consciousness. It was at that very moment that I realized what could have been if there was no real emergency medical assistance provided. It could have been one terrible moment for all of us if things did not turn out like it did. I know for a fact that it has got me thinking a lot ever since.
